A high quality, medium-weight, hand quilting thread with a glaze that eases threading, helps reduce tangles, and helps the thread slip through the quilted layers easily.

YLI Glazed Hand Quilting thread is a 40-weight, 3-ply, mercerised, long-staple Egyptian cotton thread. It has been glazed which makes it excellent for hand quilting but means it cannot be used for machine quilting. It has been one of the most popular hand quilting threads on the market for over 20 years.

We recommend using a John James Size 10 Quilting needle or Size 10 Big Eye Quilting needle.
