Stitch & Tear is a tear-away stabiliser used for machine embroidery and also for appliqué work. Once a motif has been stitched, the stabiliser can be torn away from the back of the work.

This product is 90cm wide and is sold by the metre. The product will be folded as loosely as possible when dispatched and will be shipped in a bubble lined envelope.

Stitch & Tear is also a popular choice for the patchwork technique known as foundation piecing, as it tears away from stitches without pulling the stitching out. You can print foundation patterns onto Stitch & Tear either by drawing them on directly or by feeding A4 size cut pieces through an inkjet printer one at a time.
