Superior So Fine! #50 is a #50/3-ply thread with very little lint. It is an extra smooth, all purpose polyester thread which is excellent for home machine quilting or longarm quilting. Each Cone has 3,280 yards. Excellent for general sewing, dressmaking, overlocking, for use as a bobbin thread and also for machine quilting. 

When machine quilting, we recommend a size 85 needle (or 90), and either So Fine! in the bobbin, or The Bottom Line thread.

This thread has a mat finish, not glossy.
