100% Egyptian Cotton Sewing Thread

A fine cotton sewing thread for patchwork piecing, detailed quilting, bobbin, lace and appliqué. Masterpiece is a 50-weight/2-ply, long-staple Egyptian cotton, a very smooth thread with virtually no lint.

Masterpiece is suitable for hand or machine sewing. It is fantastic as a bobbin thread because, with it being very fine, a large amount fits on each bobbin. It is also great as a piecing thread because it lays flat and doesn't add any bulk to the seam. For best results, we recommend you use a Microtex 70 needle when piecing or working through two layers, and nothing larger than a Quilting 75 needle when quilting through three layers.
