Mettler Polysheen is a versatile general purpose thread that is very strong. This makes it particularly well suited for use with highly stressed textiles such as sports and leisurewear, children's clothes, leather, work clothing, jeans and terry cloth.

Polysheen is a high-sheen thread that is available in a wide range of colours. This gives it a beautiful brilliance and high shine and makes it perfect for embroidery. It is also very durable which ensures the colour and sheen stay as good as new. For best results when doing digitised machine embroidery, we recommend using Madeira Bobbinfil in the bobbin.

Mettler Polysheen 40 retains its strength and brilliance even after washing.

Mettler Polysheen thread is a solid colour thread. Because the thread is a high-sheen, highly reflective thread, it is difficult to capture the colour of the thread as a solid colour swatch. We are using the manufacturer's own images which indicate the tone of these solid colour threads.
