Frixion Iron-Off Pens

This is the pen everyone is talking about! Gel pens that completely erase with friction or gentle heat. Draw on your fabric, then swoosh an iron over the top to erase the line. For textured pieces where ironing would not be appropriate, blow with a hair dryer to erase the line.

We've tested these pens in the shop and they really do work. We've drawn on the same piece of white fabric many dozens of times, then ironed it gently and the marks have all disappeared. Not a single mark remains.

These pens are absolutely perfect for marking quilt designs on quilt tops, marking applique registration marks on backgrounds, etc. You can even write notes to yourself on your quilt top ;-)

Needle turn applique has never been so easy. Trace your templates onto the RIGHT side of your fabric using the Frixion pen, cut it out leaving 1/8th inch seam allowance, then needle turn in place. Magic. No paper backs, no basting.

These pens also erase when used on paper. An eraser is included in the top of the pen.

It is always a good idea to test ANY marking pen, no matter how good it is or how much you trust it, on a spare piece of fabric before you mark your project, just to be sure.
