Needle Organiser Kit
Panel and sewing instructions by Meg Leach
Finished size 6" x 8"
Do you sometimes wonder which type of needle you have in your sewing machine? This solves the problem. This Needle Organiser Kit was designed by Meg Leach to help you keep your needles organised and easy to hand.
This Needle Organiser Kit is supplied with a pre-printed panel with 20 squares marked out for machine sewing needles and 6 squares marked out for hand sewing needles. Each group of squares has the names of all the most commonly used types of needles, and includes a few blank squares so you can add any of your favourite needles that are not already on the panel.
The kit is supplied with complete sewing instructions plus a coloured flower head pin. This pin is used to mark which needle is currently in your sewing machine. When you take a needle out from the needle organiser and put it into your machine, put the coloured pin into the panel in that needle's place. Then, one glance at the needle organiser will tell you which needle is currently in your sewing machine.
To complete the needle organiser you will need: a scrap of fabric approximately 12" square or larger, a 6" x 8" piece of plastic (an ice cream tub lid works well) and some stuffing of your choice. Scraps of wadding or toy fill would be ideal.
