DMC Waste Canvas is used with stranded threads to add a cross stitch design to any fabric (e.g. to add an emblem to a shirt pocket). Baste a piece of waste canvas to the fabric that is to receive the cross stitch design. Cross stitch through both the fabric and the canvas. Then remove the threads of the canvas one by one leaving the design cross stitched to the underlying fabric.
