Aurifil Cotton Mako 40 thread is a 2 ply thread made from the finest Egyptian long staple cotton and mercerised for a wonderful sheen. Aurifil 40 is a fantastic general purpose thread and is very popular for machine piecing, hand piecing and machine quilting.
