Whether you're brand new to sewing or brand new to patchwork & quilting, come along and learn how to make this great rug project, made from a Jelly Roll. These make spectacular presents, so plan ahead for Christmas, or make one for yourself. This is going to be such a fun day. Just turn up to class with a Jelly Roll, a roll of 2 1/4" wadding, your sewing machine & equipment, plus a few other supplies listed below, and we'll guide you through this easy pattern.
What to bring to class with you:
- Your sewing machine, foot pedal, power cord, manual (machine MUST be in working order)
- Ordinary straight stitch foot for your machine
- One Moda Jelly Roll (or other brand equivalent)
- One spool of Aurifil 50 in blending colour
- 5 bobbins filled with your piecing thread
- One 50yd roll of Bosal 2 1/4" pre-cut wadding
- Packed lunch (there is a tearoom on site if you prefer)
- A notebook & pen, also a camera or smartphone for taking pictures/videos
- Large extension table for your machine if you have one
- If you cancel this class with one month's notice or more, a full refund of your tuition fee will be issued.
- If you cancel this class with two week's notice or more, a 50% refund of your tuition fee will be issued.
- If you cancel this class with less than two week's notice, we regret that no refund will be issued for your tuition fee.
