Polysatin single-fold bias binding is used to edge necklines, pockets, cuffs or other fabric projects, especially where a sheen is required such as for special occasion outfits, clutch bags, silk or silk-like projects. It is sewn onto the raw edge of the fabric, turned to the inside and stitched down for a neat finish.

'Single-fold' bias means that both raw edges have been folded in, but the tape has had only the one folding process applied to it.

This is non-fusible single fold bias binding. To make it adhesive, simply apply 5mm fusible bias tape (also available on this site).
