Seam tape can be used for many projects including clothing, table/bed linen and decoration. It is a stable tape on straight of grain so does not stretch. In dressmaking, it is often sewn onto a raw hem before the hem is turned up. It can be used to stabilise or reinforce a stretchy or hard wearing seam such as a shoulder seam.
