Pinking Shears - 9 1/4" (235mm)
These pinking shears are excellent quality and suitable for cutting fabric for dressmaking or other textile crafts. They have a generous sized handle that is comfortable to the grip. These pinking shears have a ball bearing joint for smooth easy action and the blades are made from quality stainless steel.
These pinking shears are ideal for medium weight woven fabrics such as homespun, calico, patchwork fabric, other cottons and wools, felts, etc... They are not recommended for heavy fabrics, tricots, thin or silky fabrics.
For best results, lay the fabric flat on a table when cutting. The performance is reduced if the fabrics are held in the hand. Place the fabric into the pinker up to the 2nd last notch from the handle. Do not jam the fabric all the way into the wide open pinker.
Maintenance: Place a small drop of oil or Sewer's Aid onto the ball joint regularly to keep the pinking shears cutting action smooth and long lasting.
Warning: These pinking shears are sharp and can be dangerous if misused. Always use with care. Supervision is recommended for children. Please store out of the reach of children when not in use.
