This quilt kit contains 50 pre-cut batik strips of fabric (each 2.5" x 44") sufficient to make the 46" x 54" quilt top as illustrated, including borders and binding. Fabrics are all colourwash batiks. The kit also contains calico sufficient for the block backgrounds and the sashing strips.
This delightful house quilt has been designed by Meg Leach specifically for use with 'Jelly Roll' strips and is suitable for beginners. Full illustrated coloured instructions are included for this easy-to-piece quilt top. All of the coloured fabric in the quilt has been pre-cut to the correct width.
To make the quilt top, cut blue batik strips to the correct lengths (following instructions) and combine with calico squares and rectangles which you cut out yourself. The quilt top is easily pieced together in one or two evenings.
