Panel & sewing instructions designed by Meg Leach
Do you sometimes wonder which needle is in your sewing machine? This solves the problem. This Needle Organiser panel was designed by Meg Leach to keep needles organised and easy to hand.
Needle keeper kit is supplied with: pre-printed panel with 20 spaces for machine sewing needles and 6 spaces for hand needles. Each category includes squares with the names of all the most commonly used types of needles and also blank squares to enter your favourites which may not be included on the panel. Kit is also supplied with complete sewing instructions plus a coloured flower head pin. The pin is used to mark which needle is currently in your sewing machine. When a needle is taken from the needle keeper and put into the machine, the coloured pin is put into the keeper in the needle's place. One glance at the needle keeper and the pin indicates which needle is in the sewing machine.
To complete the needle organiser you will need: a scrap of fabric approx 12" square or larger, a 6" x 8" piece of plastic (an ice cream lid works well) and some stuffing of your choice. Scraps of wadding or toy fill would be ideal.
