John James Quilting Needles are classed as 'Betweens'. These needles are ideal for hand quilting; they have sharp points and slim shafts. Betweens are shorter than 'sharps' so to help enable a rocking motion as the middle finger pushes the needle through the layers of the quilt. This enables more quilt stitches (running stitches) to be loaded onto the needle in a single push.
These needles have a large eye for threading, so will take most 40 and 50 weight hand quilting threads.
