ADD A QUARTER - 12 " long
The Add-A-Quarter™ combines the speed of rotary cutting quilt pieces with the accuracy of using templates. Once your templates are made, the Add-A-Quarter™ will automatically add the customary ¼" seam allowance to any straight angle and provide a straight edge for you rotary cutter.
This means that you don't have to buy lots of different shaped rulers for rotary cutting. This tool also allows you to use old patterns or magazine patterns where templates are given as exact shapes without seam allowances. You can still use them for rotary cutting with this tool. Simply cut out your templates from cardboard or template plastic and then align the Add-A-Quarter over the template, rotary cutting along the edge of the Add-A-Quarter.
